Keith & Emmelie / Sweden Wedding

Getting married at your childhood home must be an incredible experience... and that's just what Keith and Emmelie did. 6 hours north of Stockholm is the tiny community of Ånge... home to Emmelie's parents and their stunning farm. Honestly, I'm not sure we've been anywhere quite as breathtaking... lakes, mountains and the prettiest of houses.

Keith and Emmelie – you guys have stolen our hearts. Thank you for making us feel most welcome and allowing us to be a part of your special day.... and Sweden, we're hooked on you.

A total pleasure shooting alongside Laura McCluskey too... Laura, we love you!

Fujifilm X100S

We recently picked up the Fujifilm X100S... (I know, a little late to the party) we were off on holiday and I really didn't want to be lugging around a DSLR + lenses. Honestly, I feel like a total idiot travelling with such things for pleasure. The iPhone is great for grabbing a quick image or two but there is always an urge to check-in with social media... which (for us) is a no-go on holiday.

Below are the results of its first outing... and we're in love – a breeze to use, fixed 35mm lens, stunning viewfinder and handful of Fujifilm presets. I don't think we will ever reach for the DSLR again... the X100S now sits proudly on our kitchen cabinet waiting to be picked up.

If you have an X100S (or similar model) please do drop a link in the comments section below – we would love to check out the images.

Sarah & Jonathan / Aynhoe Park Wedding

A wedding like no other... Sarah and Jonathan, you guys really know how to throw a party! The day unfolded at Aynhoe Park... a stunning private residence packed with curiosities – such an incredible venue. A perfect setting for a perfect day... so calm and relaxed with heaps of love and laughter.

Wonderful to hang out with the talented Jay Rowden too... a true gentleman.

Enjoy.

Emma & Warren / Moxhull Hall Wedding

We're not going to say too much about Emma and Warren... we're pretty sure they already know how we feel about them. It's been such a wild adventure and these guys are now firm friends. Oh... 39 seconds... *that look. Emma and Warren, we love you guys.

So much fun to hang out with our buddies, Emma Case and Pete Smyth too!

Don't Forget the Dinosaurs

Starting wedding season with a 3 month old was terrifying. Moving out of the studio has helped our work/life balance immensely BUT... being able to take Rufus with us on some of our longer trips has been the most joyous experience... packing his weekend bag is the cutest thing ever (Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs + more Dinosaurs... don't forget the Dinosaurs).

Just 8 months in and we're already working, playing, learning, sharing, laughing, crying... every day is a new adventure and full of highs and lows... but we're doing it. There is time for family and friends, there is time for the business, there is time for each other. You just adapt without noticing... routines come and go and you make space for change.

Dawny, I say this to you most days but sometimes I can tell you don't believe me. I'M INCREDIBLY PROUD OF YOU... you're an amazing mummy, loving wife and the better half of this little business. There you go... it's on the internet – so it must be true.

Victoria & Mark / Drumtochty Castle Wedding

We very quickly fell head-over-heels for Victoria and Mark... there is something so infectious about them. The entire day was kind of other-worldly... the film below doesn't even begin to show what an incredible day this was... but, it's a start.

The wedding took place at Drumtochty Castle, just south of Aberdeen – such a wonderful setting.

It was a total pleasure to work alongside Ann-Kathrin Koch and fellow film shooter, Siegrid Cain... and SO good to see the work of our favourite illustrator and all round paper-genius, Tom Gautier.

Victoria and Mark, this is for you – thank you.

Rebel Party Band (for Pete)

Below is a collection of rushes from a wedding film we're currently working on (a fantastic wedding may I add)... very few wedding bands make me feel like I'm watching an actual band – these guys do.

Rebel Party Band have no idea I'm posting this or that this film even exists... it's by no means a promotional film... hell, I'm not even sure Pete and the guys will like it... it's more of a love letter (well, film) from one creative to another. Pete, I guess this is for you... for being one of the coolest guys I know and the greatest friend a guy could ask for. It's a wild time.... so go get them.

As for the film... Crop. Grain. B&W. Motion Sickness... kind of all makes sense.

(...and yes, they're a wedding band... and yes, they sure bring the party).
